What is Student League?
Following the great success of the Norwegian Student National Championship in sailing, student sailing has established itself as one of the most exciting arenas for young sailors in Norway. With growing interest and enthusiasm from students across the country, the Studentligaen was successfully launched and completed in 2025 — bringing together students for competition, collaboration, and pure sailing joy.
Building on the experience and momentum from the national league, we are now taking the next big step: the international launch of the Student Sailing League. The goal is to create an inclusive arena for student sailors from around the world, where Norwegian initiative meets international diversity and a high level of competition. Our ambition is to establish a lasting international student sailing league that promotes both sporting development and a strong social community across borders.

It’s absolutely possible to balance both worlds, and the reward is incredible. Join the community, share the same passion, and experience the best of student life — on and off the water.

League format
The races will be held in a league format, just like in the Norwegian Sailing League. The organizer provides all sailing equipment — all you need to bring is a bag and your sailing gear.

Award banquet
On Saturday, we’ll host an awards banquet to celebrate the event, share good vibes, and honor both the winners and a few lucky prize recipients.
